MS-TAC Games - 9/18/2010

Mississippi State - Tactical Airsoft Club(MS-TAC) will be having games almost every weekend up in starville at one of their two fields.

On Saturday 9/18/2010 it will be at the Bulldog Challange Course in Starkville, MS at 10 a.m.

Games last till they are tired of playing, and they will be a combination of pickup style games. There is anywhere from 10 to 25 each week and they hope to grow this number as the year goes on.

Biodegradable Ammo IS required due to Mississippi State University Policy.
But for anyone that does not have any there will be ammo there for purchase at reasonable retail prices.

If you don't have a weapon and would still like to participate they have some "club rifles" that they rent out and cheap prices to guests(or lend to members). You may also rent these if your personal gun goes down for some reason. If you are renting, they will supply you with everything you need(glasses or googles, gun, ammo).

Well, went to the MS-tac game today in Starkville.
Seanster & Last to fall also showed up along with about 15 or so more people to play.

Had a good time, played several games, short ones, 15&30 minute ones, some death matches shorter than that.

I took 2 hits in the games.

first one.
Played a bomb game, they had to get the bomb into our base, there had been a few people coming & going out of our base, (or people re-spawning)  and i didn't notice Seanster get into our base, I thought he was on my team (he was in the last game 15 minutes before) so i didn't pay him any attention he was also about 30 ft away, and he didn't shoot me so i figured he was my teammate, the leader of the other team rounded our base, and i lit him up, then i put 2 + 2 together about the same time that seanster did.

He squeezed, i was bringing my weapon up, and he got me in the calf, (got to work on that aim Seanster) and that was that for that game.

The other hit happened when we were going the long way around to our objective, we eliminated a few of the other team including one of their snipers, and were moving toward our objective, had a guy on point, he was about 40 ft in front, a guy in #2 slot and i was pulling slack in the rear.  i took a sniper hit to the heart, never heard him, just felt the hit and saw the bb bounce.

whoever did it good shot.



They charge $10 for non members, you get a loaner gun, glasses and ammo for the day. a very good deal.

If you join the club, it cost $20 but you don't have to pay to play for the rest of the year.
BUT you do have to supply your own ammo .

I am not sure if there is any other pricing structure.

Good people, good fun, good price, everyone should make it if they can..

Next game Saturday the 25th and again on oct 2.
