Great game day this last weekend.

So.... this weekend was a validation for alot of my thoughts on airsoft.

1. Bang Bang Rule.

personally i like the bang bang rule. that could have been reallllllllll bad.

we were playing reactor and i was going for the cone. came up on one of the defenders and my m14 (~340fps) was like 3 inches from his face. then a light came on. "I haz a pistol." so i duck down and grab my pistol and point it at him and say Bang Bang!. when he didnt respond fast enough, i said it again and he nodded his head.

i then put the pistol away and knocked over the cone for the win.

2. Sniper/DMR

I think I will focus more on the DMR role than sniper. This weekend I shot a wee bit more on the full auto side than semi auto. I still need to figure out/have someone one physically show me how to make the M14 physically semi only. that way if i want to fill the sniper role at a big OP, then i can. but for now i will focus on upping my fps. accuracy is pretty good.

3. Gear layout.

at one point when we were playing team v team. i was trading plastic with a guy and i felt we were pinning each other down. However, I had the bright idea to belly crawl to change location and potentially knock him out.  If I had any stiff gear (mags/pouches on the midsection of my belt, this would have been pretty difficult b/c of the briars/downed limbs.

4. RELIABLE radios

This is a must. several times it would have been nice to be able to transmit and RECEIVE (i was not able to recieve). not sure what was wrong with the radios i had. I tested them when i got them and they could xmit/receive to each other. guess ill have to try them out again.
