remember. the BANG BANG is a courtesy.

This is my personal attitude on BANG BANG.

Bang bang range is point blank to within ~10-15 feet.

If you draw on me when i BANG BANG. I WILL fire on you.

If you hesitate, I will give you a second chance to accept. after that  I WILL fire on you.

If you BANG BANG me, I will accept it (as long as its within the aforementioned distance). I'd rather you use the BANG BANG than shoot me that close.

I was the recipient of a  bang bang call at OP:VE. it was right at the end. we were literally on opposites sides of a piece of plywood.

I try and keep it close to 10 feet if I use the bang bang rule. Though i have only used it 1 or 2 times. I have accepted a couple as well, but also been on the end of a few instances where it should have been called and wasn't.

My thoughts on it when i use the rule is:  If i was that person, would I want to be shot at 5-10 feet with a gun that is shooting at 350+ fps? Then offer the bang bang and see where that leads us.

A sniper is at his most dangerous when the bullets stop flying, cause it's then that his enemies start coming out of their cover.

Break the chain of command, break their spirit, and then the leftovers will break themselves.

I'm almost to the point of doing away with the bang bang rule all together...  I mean... You touch someone it can count as a kill, but otherwise you have to shoot someone to kill them.  I mean, for people who overall criticize paintballers for their "lack of realism" we never had this issue when I used to play paintball.  Sometimes we got significant bruises, sometimes we got bloodied up a bit, but it was all part of the game...  Maybe the only exception is for a sniper, using their main rifle...  But still... If we can't agree I say shoot first, bang later...

Realy my opinion of it is its a courteseyl but the catch is it goes by the golden rule, dont be a pud if you get banged and you try and shoot back and a sniper drills you at ten feet, especialy when you did the same thing two games ago. Heres my thing.. if im feelin courteous, i will call you out, and the bang rule(s) come into play... if im not having a good day i will wait untill either i can touch you and tell youre out or till you get a reasonable distance away so i can unload my frustration on ya. However we all know in some situations you pop over the edge of a ravine etc and pwn the guy hiding there because of the adrenaline. Thats fine as long as you dont beoch when his teammate lights you up at the same range. Do unto others as youd have done to you (and dont complain about it, the blood gives you more cred and man points).
