I recently hooked on a little deal paiken was offering in the for sale thread on this Tanaka Works M700 takedown gas sniper rifle. When i first held it i was impressed with the quality of it, even though it was in desperate need of tlc.  As you can tell, she was your standard black... not ideal for a woodland sniper, but tolerable. She was extremely well worn.. to say the least. Misspng her front sling bolt she wobbled and shook, ddoubtless it was very bad for accuracy. So i set to work, complete breakdown and cleaning. I bought a new swivel bolt for her and rebuilt the hopup. Then it was time to clean her up on the outside. Several hours and layers of enamel later, here she is in all her glory  |

Very nice! Looks like the kind of handywork done by CREEPA, except it shoots  How does the ol girl shoot BTW? |

She shoots, but i got her monday and just finished the rebuild so i dont have any data other than that. And no, not even a semblance of creeper here, i actualy used parts made for the gun to fix it, and put finish on instead of taking it off lol

New stats, chronoed at 468 avg wjth high being 495 on a cold day at mt doom with .25s, accuracy greatly affected by high speeds, so most suggest at least .35s
