I was recently reviewing some vietnam era literature when i came across some first generation navy seals weapons, one of which was a "chopped" m60. To save weight and carry more ammo the seals would remove anything on the old pig that wasnt nessisary to shoot it. So, the sights, buttplate, bipod, sometimes the front grip and a few of barrel were sacrificed in the name of efficency. Having a 60 at home, i decided to pay homage to our seals with the airsoft take on the chopped pig. As my m60 is the modern short version, all i had to do was start taking stuff off (cue disco music and blacklights).

The final weight on the gun was less than my ak spets, while retaining the full functionality of a saw. Im yhinking about adding a leather handgaurd fpr the barrel if i keep it in this configuration for long.
