i may be getting a new gun soon, and i want some opinions on what to get. i dont want another M14, as this one has completed falling apart (lost the part that goes on the barrel on the front of the gun that holds stock together). I want a M16/m4 type gun, but not a s-system. i need to find a gun that is ~$120 dollars for christmas. i do not really care about the brand.

i found this at ASGI: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3040  should i get this one, or the JG basic version, if it goes back in stock?

also, any opinions on other types of guns i could get (i prefer american)? plz keep the price range 200 or less on these.

and what about P90's? are they good guns?

That was an awesOme deal on that classic army!  But dealing with these suppliers myself, I can tell you that they were just clearing out what they had in stock.  $100 says they WON'T order more just to sell them that cheap!!  LEGACY can prolly hook you with a Full metal M4 for less than $150.. Holler at us if y want us to start hunting for something!!

Lemme tell ya, if its down to spending the extra thirty bucks, go ahead and do it. More often than not you get what you pay for in airsoft. And for a good general gun the m4 is the way to go, with plenty of upgrades and mag options. My favorites are kwa, echo1 (matrix) and g&g. Legacy can hook ya up, and like creeper said... if its a real steal on an online retailer but out of stock, odds are there arent gonna be any more in stock at that price.

I got my JG m4 from Legacy....great price and I couldn't have asked for a more SOLID shooter. I WOULD recommend getting a better battery. The Ni-Cad battery that comes with all AEGs suck. I bought a Ni-Mh for $25 or so and get a better response from the gun.....

well, ima just get the CA M15A4 and be done with it. as for the other gun, the one that could be ~200, i would like something with a big mag and high rate of fire, like a SAW or M60, or just a gun with a drum mag. or i may just get that Desert Eagle gbb i want and get some good gear and more mags, not to mention fix my M14.

personally i like the jg for the Rail system ( a new rail system will cost around $75+. So for just $20 more dollars, you can save a ton.

plus allows easy mounting of scope/red dot, light, and other accessories. mounting a light to the gun is great for night games. one thing i learned at AOW2.

and if you don't like the full stock. you should be able to change it out later.

i know its out of stock, but if you could fine one of these, they are cheap and can allow you to add a light/laser/handguard to your rifle
