What airsoft guns/gear/accessories, new or used, have you bought that you deeply regretted, and why?

Hopefully, this thread will help people that are starting out, or help in making a purchase decision.

For me it is a UTG Tactical vest, (the same vest everyone makes the same mistake buying)  1 size fits most, and i guess i am taller & bigger than most.

the rifle mag pouches are on the wrong side, the pistol mag pouches are too high.
Everyone has bought this vest, i can't even give it away.

Awesome topic, 45!!!   Mine worst purchase, when you look at the overAll product, would have to have been my KWA M16BR.   My JGs have lasted TWICE as long for HALF the price!!

as far as gear, worst was dr scholls ortopedic inserts for my boots, uber comfortable but only lasted a game before they were mush.. got a pair for my dress shoes thatve lasted six months, but theyre not battle ready.

As far as guns, ive bever had a new one but the ics ak that i had was although well built, dissapointing as far as parts interchangeability anf availability.

In the improvised equipment category, it  was the creeper egg, nearly took off my hand during saftey testing

Noteable mention to a grenade i bought at a hobby shop that broke the day after i got it when i set it off in mr. Giggles bathroom (good prank tho)

I have bought 2 wedding rings the last 25 years, though the 2 divorces I bought helped me feel a little better.

MAG brand Magazines.  I cant tell you how much trouble I have had with these Magazines.  A lot of people have the same issues with them jamming, and breaking easily.  Great Topic by they way.

My worst purchase was the subscription to MilSim Special Articles Magazine. It has a bunch of crap about Digital being the only camo that works. Mesh goggles are for pansies. and anyone wearing a full face mask is a camel fruiter. Also it has a monthly article about the best way to insult a woman and then instantly point the finger at someone else. Last month there was an article about the proper way to ruin an Op. This one was VERY interesting. Apparently, it is totally acceptable to tell the owners of the field who and what they are allowed to have ON said field.
For the record I have canceled my subscription to this magazine and will never participate in any of their sponsored events. MSAMagazine is a waste of print.

$parky, you hit on something i missed, I shot 3 gun competition for a long time in the 80's & 90's.
I never subscribed, but I bought many copies of Handgunner mag, or American Handgunner & any others over the years.

Every month it was 9mm VS .45who will win.
Or some stuff like that. Then it was 1he 10mm & the .40S&W. AND the 9mm & .45.

I see them in the stores still, 20years later hashing out the same lame stuff.

If i should have saved my money for ammo.
