ok, sometime soon i will be getting a GBB desert eagle (i know its a gas hog, but i want one), some more mags, upgrade parts for my m16 and m14 (TBB all around), and some gear. i need a new radio and mic, and i want a belt rig, not a chest rig. it gets in the way.

i need some opinions on which desert eagle to get, which brand/bore size/lenght barrels i need to get, midcaps or highcaps, etc...

would love to get all of this from ASGI.

about the DE, ive been thinking. if i can find an all metal 1911 or m9/190/93r, then i may just get it, if its cheaper than a metal DE.

and yes i want a belt rig, because chest rigs get in the way.

as of right now the M14 is a project, and the M16 is what i am using. i am turning the M14 into a DMR that can put some range out. i know it will cost alot.

*M16 is a JG M16A3 enhanced

*M14 is a UTG

ok, for mags.

i can tell ya, a specialty pistol like the de or luger is cool, and fun, till you need a holster or replacement part / mag.. then they become a real investment of time cash and  pain. If youd like the intimidation factor of the de, but want more readily available parts check out we tech and their specialty hicappas.  Their mags are cheap for gas guns, and theyre based on a beefed 1911 frame, not to mention the large magazine compacities. As far as the m14, keep in mind that dmrs are fitful at times and require a bit more pampering out of the box than a stock battle rifle. That said, there are more m14 drm guns out there than any other for a good reason, theyre easier to work on and when you pull the trigger they will work. Id suggest a 6.02 tightbore as long as you could fit in the gun, heavier spring like a 260 pdi and a 9.6v battery. Also, go the extra kile with your airseal parts to get the best performance. If its worth doing its worth doing right.

i decided against a high capa, because of all the complaints about not enough gas in the mag for all the shots. i decided i want a WE 1911 because it has an extra mag. if the desert warrior had an extra mag, i may consider it. and i cannot find 6.02 barrels long enough for a M14, so im going with a 6.01. also a M130 spring, and i am going all out on the gearbox. everthing except the gears (already reinforced) and possibly the motor will get replaced, sooner or later, and I am going to be the one to do. its time i learned how to.

Ive never had a problem outta my we's, i get a mag of gas to a mag of ammo with propane. As for the 6.01, clean it inside before first use, and be prepared to clean it every 1500 rounds or every game, just dust from storage can mess with it. Also, if you get a brass one, use brasso on a patch and thouroughly polish the bore, i got this tric from mateba jn alabama and it seriously makes a difference.

Thats a question i wish i could answer, but realy its what youre comfortable with. Keep in mind, gas guns dont work well in cold weather, snipers with tightbores are not friendly with dirt and humidity, and aegs dont have uber range. That said, gas pistols are the going thing in that area, and aegs are cheaper and easier in upkeep in battle rifles. like i said, its what performs like you wabt it to so there is no good answer i can gice ya. Ive yet to find my personal ideal gun..

ok, i need some more opinions. i have $100 to get my M14 shooting 400-450 fps accurately. what should i get?

already have reinforced gears, good airseal componets (if i cover the nozzle with my finger, i can only push the piston forward a few mms because of the good airseal), and a piston with 1 metal tooth.

Full metal teeth piston, pdi 260eq spring, tightbore barrel. That should blow your budget, but if not, good hard type bucking and maybe a killer good metal hopup..

i can only find that spring for the VSR10. full metal teeth piston wont be a problem. the only M14 tbb i can find is a JBU 6.03. and i would like a longer barrel to go with the silencer you got, if ya still got it.
