Personally I cut the fuse link out of my gun when barricade converted it to a crane stock for me and have had no problems. I think a lot of people cut em out just food for thought. Make sure your wiring is good if you do decide to go that route.

BUT....if you name your gun SVETLANA, no amount of fuses will save you...

The perfect example of a bad idea is not useing a fuze...if you gun gets locked up you might think its a dead batter,,,what happend if this occors you may ask??? well you get melted wires....mainly in the mechbox & where the battery is......so much current goign nowhere can really mess your gun up & not only that but your motor.....i have ran into this problem many times with people just cutting the use of a fuze. so i really dont recommend it....if you blow a fuze that means something is shorting out & it needs to be fixed....most problems can be locking up in the bevel or to much torque.

Here is a good place for a dr.d ism.....
if you know your stuff, you can do what you like, otherwise be safe.

I have guns with fuses and without, most of the ones without are set up in such a way that they can handle an excess power overload. Personaly, if it were me and i had room id do it, at least a tiny inline tube type.. i prefer automotive type plug fuses in larger gun setups. This being said, if you do gun work, and have been around aegs long enough to have an idea of what the problem is right off, you dont need a fuse because most likely you wont be trying to make your gun fire when it locks up.
