Instead of trying to force a universal way to split teams, let's catalog a few DIFFERENT ways for future reference. Some have been tried, some not.
1. ARMBANDS. Like them or not, they are cheap and effective.
2. CAMO PATTERNS. ACU vs MARPAT works fine. MARPAT vs WOODLAND BDU does not.
3. CAMO VS SOLIDS. yeah the solids can be OD, tan, brown, black, etc but you can still easily tell which is which
4. BOONIS VS NON-BOON.....nevermind. I stand alone on this one!
Those are just 3 we can add to the list. Please help me add more!
BUT PLEASE!! DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A "know your target" thread. WE HAVE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT ALL BEFORE!!!

I think that the Boonie Vs other is a good idea...that is way more distinguishable for me! Also like Light VS Dark. Never really been implemented here but it works. ARMBANDS also.

I"d suggest useing the arm bands in accordence with the uniform idea in a way that doesnt throw you off your game as far as giving your possition away.For instance light uniforms can use od green or black arm bands,while dark uniforms can use tan or even grey arm bands.That way even if you can dicern the actual uniform it would at least help you decide whether it's friend or foe.
