just an FYI, I posted this to MSA's boards, b/c they are scheduling an overnight OP on a weekend that DSA is scheduling a game day.
Hey guys.... Let me start with this is not a forum bashing post, nor a whose forum is better.
We have 2 forums that are primarily State Forums. MSA and D S A. Personally I don't care about the issues between the owners of the 2 boards as long as it doesn't directly involve me.
But it is starting to due to the schedules. I only get to one game a month, maybe 2. so i have to decide the month prior what game day I'm going to the next month.
D S A has a schedule that they try to keep posted 2 months in advance with a game day every 2 weeks. MSA doesn't have a schedule.
Is there anyway that MSA can keep an eye on the dsa schedule and either plan on the off-weekends or work with D S A to schedule on one of their scheduled days? IF neither is possible, then the players are the ones that will miss out. with 2 games the same day/weekend, means less players for both games.

Well, considering the DSA game schedule has been running for the last 6-8 months, don't expect anything to change over here. If you wish to go to a MSA sponsored game have fun.
They have already shown me that they are unable to properly host a game so I have no issue with '2 games the same day/weekend'.

oh. i don't expect anything to change here. my point on the msa board was for THEM to find out what days games are going on in MS. DSA sets their games at least 2 months in advance. Just letting them know if they schedule the same weekend as DSA, then they can expect a smaller amount of peeps to show, due to 2 games on the same weekend.

I was not nor am I trying to start drama. but here is specter777's response from MSA. Maybe He's right in the fact that its better to keep the 2 sites seperate to keep the drama down.
specter777 responded, "I can see your concern. That being said, the other website has never made an attempt to post their game schedule on our website, so we might as well not even know it exists. I don’t know when they are hosting games, or where they are hosting games. I honestly feel like they want it that way, which is perfectly fine.
The two sites have tried collaborating with each other in the past, and without going into bias and detail, it doesn’t ever work out. Both sites have their core group of people, as well as people that float around mutually on both websites, such as yourself. At the end of the day, their core players probably won’t be at our games, and I highly doubt our core group will be at any of their games anytime soon. At the end of the day though, people are going to choose what game they want to go to. If two games land on the same day, both games will have less people, but both games will also have less drama. Simply because you aren’t going to have the opposing parties bashing heads with each other all day.
In my opinion, I feel like if anything is hurting airsoft it’s the fact that we try to co-operate with each other. We’ve seen it fail repeatedly. Why keep bringing the drama back into the mix by trying to do so? I think we should each do our own separate thing and forget about the other, because it’s a proven fact that we aren’t going to get along."

He pretty much says the same thing that has been previously posted on this board.
Let them play over there, we'll play over here.
If you are ok with how they play go play with them, same thing applies to us.
Nobody is being forced to play with one group or the other.
You know they (MSA Governing Body) won't play at DSA sponsored games.
You knew this before you posted on MSA; why suggest that they check the DSA schedule before scheduling a MSA game?
If folks will just quit trying to 'fix' the problem it will be fixed.

That being said, the other website has never made an attempt to post their game schedule on our website, so we might as well not even know it exists. EDITED: I removed my comment, because proving a point is worthless in this case.and I highly doubt our core group will be at any of their games anytime soon. EDITED: I removed my comment, because proving a point is worthless in this case. The rest I agree with. We have done our attempts(and a lot of them) and have either been asked to shut DSA Down or pack your stuff up and leave. SO DSA has pushed them out of the picture completely. However, if they were smart, they would host it on another date, because we know where all the players will be at. Am I wrong or right? One can choose to play with MSA GB, MODS, and Admins OR a Community of Airsoft players on that day lol.
