CHEESE!!! And I thought we weren't allowed to post our schedule over there. Oh well, like Spectre said, just about everyone knows about both sides and can decide for themselves where they want to play.

there is a major differance between the 2 sites. they consider themselves to be milsim. We do not. this one thing causes both sites to have 2 totally different playing styles. i chose the casual airsoft because it produces more games. there is not enough following here for milsim. this should keep it simple enough to help eliminate some drama at least. Ask yourself, would i rather play this weekend, or practice playing? A mil-sim friend of mine did a "game" that lasted 4 hours. And i quote "3 and half hours of boring patrol duty for a 30 minute firefight." He said mil-sim is more tactics oriented, and more concerned with how you do something than the actual doing of it. They practice a whole bunch and rarely ever use most of it. i believe that using tactics during combat to learn is more efficient and more effective.

Yeah over here at DSA we do more of a TACSIM (Tactical Simulation).  Means one thing.... More playing and less waiting.  We we get out and start playing... Tactics are immediately being used.  Granted that Team BOA will get together and practice, but our practices have opened to what we started calling "OPEN GAMES"(Remember BOA Started this).  We slowly backed out of the MILSIM because the Games were to detailed for people to understand and more time spent trying to get objectives without battles.  We still do MILSIM of course, but not to the level that most play it at.  When MS gets to the Player level like TX, NY, CT, CA or any other large state, we will be able to do MILSIM.  Its just that the battles are to spread out and to Whop Sided right now.

It is good to get out and get a bunch of guys together and go over a few things from now and again.  But practicing with just your team will make it not fun at all.  This is why Team BOA has these Open Games at our fields.

Oh if you ever get to come out to a game, its all smiles...!  Grin
