Hi everyone,

If you want to see another side of airsoft rather then just woods and rocks I have a solution.
This is a really great opportunity to see a nice field with alot of variation. There are trenches, bases, and a medium village. This field, did I mention is also free for all first time visitors, so those of you who are stretching your money this is for YOU! (;

The field is located in Robertsdale, AL. Which could be A decent drive. Below is the link to their website and field location. More specifics on the mini zombie scenario shouod be posted soon.

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=30.6283986661%2C-87.6152687571&daddr=30.5824908134%2C-87.570839657&hl=en&ip=192.168.2.2&ie=utf-8

Let me make this clear that this is not a scenario game, but there will be fun game types and zombie match or two for the Halloween spirit. The field gates open at 10am and the games will begin at 11am. the games should continue late into the night. Everyone is welcome to come and go as they need. I have a minimum of 6 people coming with me from Birmingham, AL. MS-TAC has a decent bit of people coming as well. There should be anywhere from 30 up on the field in Robertsdale, AL. This is not a closed event and everyone is welcomed to come a join us, there could be a turn out of 50 people which on this field would be AWESOME!!!

NEW TERRAIN, NEW STRUCTURE, LOTS OF AIRSOFT FUN (:

So who of you are coming?

Regards,
MS-TAC Founder

BAM!! the rules

TFAA FIELD RULES
Airsoft is a game of honor; and players must play honestly in order for the game, whether it be a backyard skirmish, or a full on Mil-Sim OP to function properly and be fun for everyone involved. Not following the rules or cheating in any fashion can not be tolerated.

FIELD FEES
Field fee is$10.00 for all PLAYERS.
Observers And Other Non-Combatants are not required pay field fee.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
UNDER THE AGE OF 18 PERMITTED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS. Any players under 18 must have waiver signed by parent or guardian. Also a copy of your parents or guardians drivers license must be included.
Any players under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times on the field. A waiver will also be needed for your parent or guardian.

WAIVERS
You must have a Waiver on file; if not you must sign a WAIVER before playing.

SPORTSMANSHIP
Trash Talking is allowed and should be keep with in reason and in the spirit of the game. There may be younger players present so please try and keep it PG13. Be respectful and treat other players as you would have them treat you. No Racial or Sexually Harassing Comments Will Be Allowed. Anyone found in violation will be removed from the game and be banned from the field. No exceptions.

GENERAL SAFETY
Players who fail to follow the safety rules put themselves and others in danger of injury. They are in place for your safety and apply to everyone.

EYE PROTECTION
Goggles that form a full tight seal around your eyes are required. All lenses must be rated at ANSI Z87.1-2003 (also known as Z87.1+). Regular shop goggles, shooting glasses, or sunglasses do not offer adequate protection from shots from the sides, rear, or ricochets and are not be allowed!

FULL FACE PROTECTION
Full face masks will required for all players 14 and under unless approved by a parent or guardian. BBs impacting the face can break or chip teeth, and are easily stopped by a full face mask. Full face protection is recommended at any indoor events/games (CQB, MOUT) due to the close proximity of engagements.

SURRENDER, BANG RULES
When players have the drop on an opposing player at 15 feet less they should employ one of these options. The surrender and bang rule are basically the same. The player simply says BANG and the opposing player is dead. Surrender can either mean that the opposing player is dead or can be taken POW. *Remember this is a courtesy Rule* This can only be used on one player at a time, the weapon must be pointed at the player.

PARLAY
If two opposing players encounter each other at less than the approved engagement distance. They should then employ a parlay. Both players pace back to the approved engagement distance and continue combat.

OBSERVERS & NON COMBATANTS
Any people watching and airsoft game, photographers, or Admin/Referees. MUST observe at least the minimum eye protection requirements listed above. Firing on these individuals is to be avoided.

BLIND FIRING
Players must be able to see where the muzzle of their airsoft replica is pointed when firing. Holding a weapon above a barricade or around a corner without being able to see the intended target is blind firing, and is extremely dangerous. This is prohibited in all cases and brought to the attention of the Admin if it occurs.

PYROTECHNICS
Are Not Allowed at the Wilcox Field due to danger of fires. Smoke bombs must be approved by an admin before they are use and ground conditions.

STARTING AND ENDING A GAME
Players should leave magazines out of their replicas with the safety on until the event is officially started by whatever method chosen (shouting GAME ON, using an air horn etc.) This insures that all participants have their eye protection on and are within the approved boundaries of play before live firing begins.
When GAME OFF is called, players should remove their magazines, clear their weapons by firing into the air, and place their safeties on. They should wait for the OK from the admins before removing eye protection.

PARKING AREA
There will be No Firing In The Parking / Staging Area. All Weapons should be placed on safe and magazines removed.

TEST FIRE & CHRONO
Chronoing and test firing will only be allowed in the designated areas.

FEET PER SECOND LIMITS & MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT DISTANCE
The FPS limits are based upon airsoft replicas firing 0.20 gram bbs. All Weapons will be chronoed prior to the start of play and after any internal modifications to insure player safety. BB's will be provided by Admin for chronoing to ensure correct measurement. We can not take your word that you have .20's in your clip

FPS AND MIMIUM DISTANCE TO TARGET
350fps and under minimum is 15ft.
350fps to 400 fps. minimum is 30 ft
400fps to 450 fps. mimimum is 45 ft
450fps to 500 fps. mimimum is 100 ft
500fps to 550fps. mimimum is 125 ft
550fps or higher is not allowed for saftey reasons.

HOME MADE GUNS
Home made guns are not allowed at the field. any weapon that is not able to be check by chrono is not allowed.

AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC GUNS*:
The Maximum velocity limit for AEGs outdoors is 400fps.
The minimum engagement distance will be 30 feet.
When closer than 30 feet players should use the Bang, Surrender, or Parlay rule depending on the situation, or transition to an approved sidearm.

SUPPORT WEAPONS*:
The Maximum velocity limit for support weapons is 450fps.
The minimum engagement distance will be 45 feet.
Players should carry a secondary weapon and/or sidearm for engagements closer than 50 feet. Allowable support weapons will be ACCURATE replicas of weapons specifically designed to provide suppressive fire in a support role. Regular AEGS with a box or drum mag will not be considered a support weapon. Support weapons will not be used in close proximity period.

DESIGNATED MARKSMAN RIFLE*:
The Maximum velocity for DMRs is 500 fps.
The minimum engagement distance will be 100 feet.
DMRs cannot simply be a standard AEG rifle that fires at 500fps. They must be ACCURATE replicas of real steel marksman rifles. Replicas considered DMRs must be semi-auto capable only and must be approved by the Admin before use. DMR weapons will not be used in close proximity period.

SNIPER RIFLE*:
The Maximum FPS limit for sniper rifles is 550fps.
The minimum engagement distance will be 125 feet.
Sniper rifles will be limited to outdoor use only. Snipers should carry a secondary weapon for engagements within 100 feet. Replicas considered sniper rifles must be bolt action only. Any other Replicas must be approved by Admin. Sniper weapons will not be used in close proximity period.

PISTOL:
The recommended velocity limit for gas, CO2, electric, or spring pistols is 350fps. This applies to both indoor and outdoors.

*While AEG's are more common, MED's also apply to any Gas or Gas Blowback weapons.

ADDITIONAL AIRSOFT WEAPONS
Airsoft Grenade Launchers: M203 style weapons. CQB use must be approved prior to game start.
All Non-CO2 powered rounds will have an MED of 10ft
All CO2 powered rounds will have an MED of 15ft.

AIRSOFT HAND GRENADES
Are allowed and there use will be covered on an as needed basis.

AIRSOFT MINES, CLAYMORES AND IED's
Airsoft Claymores and land mines loaded with bbs or baby powder are allowed. Rules be simple, any player hit by bbs or gets baby powder on any part of their body or gear from a claymore or a mine, should be considered hit. Their use will be covered on an as-needed basis.

KNIVES
The use any knives including Rubber Knives is Not Allowed. They must be approve by Admin/Safety Marshall. The Velocity and rate of Fire must be able to be check with an chrono.

CQB/MOUT:
During strictly indoor games where full auto fire from AEGs is allowed the recommended velocity limit is 350fps. Only semi-auto
fire is allowed from AEGs inside of structures. Support and sniper weapons will not be used when both players are in a structure or in close proximity period. A player is considered inside of a structure the moment that any part of their body breaks the plane of the inside of a structure.

FIRING AT PLAYERS WITH AN AIRSOFT REPLICA:
TFAA recommends that players aim center mass at opposing players. Aim for the torso and lower extremities whenever possible, and be sure to follow the engagement distance rules when doing so. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD PLAYERS AIM AT THE HEAD OR FACE ON PURPOSE! This could result in serious injury. If the player is peeking out from behind cover and the head is the only target they are giving you. Then by all means take the shot, but fire either on semi-auto or in short bursts only. You wouldn't want someone laying into your face at full-auto, so show your fellow players the same courtesy that you would expect.

THE HIT RULE
When any part of the player's body or personal gear, (tac vest, helmet, boots, etc.) takes a direct hit from a BB they are considered hit. BB's that penetrate through concealment such as, tall grass or bushes are considered hits. Friendly fire also counts as a hit. If you are unsure call hit.
BBs that hit the players weapon DO NOT count as a hit.
After players are hit they should yell HIT very loudly, and raising a hand or weapon in the air to indicate clearly to the opposing force that you are indeed hit. Then remove your dead rag and wave in the air and or place your dead rag on your head and withdraw when possible. If you can not withdraw attempt to clear the line of fire as much as possible. If a player calls hit cease firing at that player when possible. Players should never use hit (Dead) teammates as cover, nor should they take opposing player’s hostage for use as cover.

CHEATING (& NOT CALLING HITS)
Cheating is not Tolerated.
If a player feels that they have hit an opposing player and the hit wasn’t called. Under no circumstances should they call the hit for the opposing player. Screaming or yelling at the opposing player (Example: Hey I saw the BB‘s hit you.) and/or threatening them is not acceptable. There are many justifiable reasons as to why the hit wasn’t called. Perhaps they didn’t feel the hit through their gear, the BB‘s may be falling short or are being blown off course by wind, and you can’t see that from your vantage point. We recommend that all players give the benefit of the doubt. in these situations. BB‘s don’t cost very much so keep shooting them.
If players feel that someone is not calling obvious hits on a repeated basis. They should approach Admin after the game or during a break, and bring the issue up with them in a professional manner. Allow them to handle the situation.

CONTACT BETWEEN PLAYERS
Physical contact between players is not allowed outside of approved game play. Fighting, excessive language, stepping out of bounds, rule infractions will result in a dismissal from a game. If it happens continuously, you will be dismissed from the field. If you have a problem with a player or if you notice a safty concern please contact an admin/ TFAA member asap to handle the concern.

MEDIC RULE
The player designated as a Medic may make physical contact with another player to administer aid or move the hit player to a safe location to medic them as per game rules. When moving; the medic must keep one hand on the wounded player and all times. The wounded player will be allowed to fire in Semi only and only when in contact with the medic.

POW
Involves using the surrender rule to take an opposing player POW if POWs are part of a game or scenario. Players may confiscate (with care if OK) the POW‘s weapons and lead them to a secure location. If players have agreed to POW rules and they are taken POW they should follow the spirit of the rule. Example: .OK, I’m a POW, I’ll stay here until I’m rescued, I can escape or the game is over. No forms of physical restraint will be used. If escape and/or rescue rules are in effect, then players should place guards on
POWs to prevent escape or rescue ONLY.

LEAVING THE FIELD OF PLAY
If players need to leave the field of play due a replica breakdown, fatigue, or any other non-injury or other non- emergency reason. They should call themselves out, just like if they were hit and leave the field of play. Players should never call a stop the game for the other players, unless there is an injury or other emergency.

INJURY OR EMERGENCY
If a player is injured and needs help leaving the field of play, and/or requires medical attention. REAL-WORLD should be called over the battlefield and over all radio channels being used. This will be an overall GAMESTOP and CEASEFIRE, until the injured player has been attended to. In the event of an injury or emergency contact the nearest admin.

BLINDMAN
Yell, "BLINDMAN," should a player lose their eye protection or is forced to remove it for any reason.

COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT
Radios should be carried by at least two members of each opposing team to contact admin in case of emergency. An admin channel will be assigned before each game. This is only to be used by admin and in case of emergency.

WILDLIFE
Please keep in mind TFAA field is woodland area with wild creatures. keep in mind when your walking around you are well aware of your surroundings. There wild plants, possibly poison ivy, poison oak, etc... if you do not know what these plants look like.

Please take the time to do a lil research so you are well informed about each type of plant. If you see any of these's types of thangs and notice it is a safety concern please contact a TFAA member asap.

If you understand these rules please sign with a post below that states:

A sniper is at his most dangerous when the bullets stop flying, cause it's then that his enemies start coming out of their cover.

Yes just contact che chuy or allout and you should be able to get the waivers. Make sure they know you are bring someone of a young age and how to go about getting that approved.

If you are needing to ask ms-tac for a ride then you best bet is to post a quest for ride on their forum under the same game day and see what they can do. Right now my group is coming from Bham and we have two full vehicle as right now.

ALL, If you are planning on coming to this game then please go to the foundation airsoft forum aand post you are coming for their reference. Also since we will be play a couple of zombie games please look over the zombie game rules that have been listed on the second page of this topic ob their website. Please glance over the zombie rules and general idea for the scenario so you will have a understanding prior to the event. We cannot wait to see all of you out there having fun.
