I'd get it if you like the look. My madbull sound hog did not make a huge difference. If you really want a load gun go with metal internals but you should expect a lower ROF.

I'm assuming you mean the gearbox right?  I don't think I know anyone still running plastic internals!!  Lol !!  Anyway,  I was hoping this thing would at least make a metallic ring when the weapon is fired!

The madbull had an o-ring that could be removed that allowed the cones to clank around. It made a unique sound. As far as poly internal users go, chalk me up as one. I perfer them, they run faster, cost less and in general serve the same purpose. But they sure don't look as good. The sound hog is suposed to increase the volume of the cylinder head piston head impact and give a more defined direction. I just didn't notice a huge difference. I guess a recording could really determine this better. I'll see if I can get a audio clip. They look great though.

I have to apologize for my ignorance.  I honestly didn't know there was such a thing as high grade poly internals.  Would it be safe to assume that these internals cant be used in high fps applications?

Yes and no. It depends on what you want. If you want recoil or lots of noise, then no. They just don't generate that much momentum. In general you can use a common plastic (of some sort) cylinder & piston head with a plastic piston and do just fine. In some extreme cases you are stuck with such internals but as far as high grade poly parts are concerned I would just look at pistons and piston heads. Those are the only real factors. Cylinder heads do break, usually the tube breaks and turns freely in the CH, but I would not buy a metal one unless they are hard to find parts like the CH in my ARES M60. Supercore pistons are considered the best on the market and they are mostly made of plastic. They are commonly seen used exclusively in 35+rps setups, some even at high FPS. They are beasts but its also relative to your angle of engagement. Spacing your piston to mesh with your gears is a huge factor in its life span when it come to higher performance. With the extreme cases of high ROF you need a light piston setup to prevent your gears from picking it too early. You can use metal parts but you sacrifice some of your ROF and could possibly decrease the lifespan of your MB or other internals. Full metal internals usually don't mix well with V2 MBs.

Sorry, I didn't get around to the video today. I'll try again tomorrow.
