    OP FREEDOM II Scenario

P.O.W. Camps of Interest: Taloqan prison and Sheberghan Prison.

    Sheberghan 101:
Sheberghan was the site of the Dasht-i-Leili massacre “Convoy of Death" in December 2001 during the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan where between 250 and 3,000 (depending on sources) Taliban prisoners were shot and/or suffocated to death in metal truck containers, while being transferred by American and Northern Alliance soldiers from Kunduz to Sheberghan prison.

Sheberghan was the stronghold of Uzbek warlord General Abdul Rashid Dostum, who had been vying with his Tajik rival General Mohammed Atta for control of northern Afghanistan.

The transferred prisoners were under supervision of forces loyal to General Rashid Dostum and some of them were survivors of the Battle of Qala-i-Jangi in Mazari Sharif. According to all sources, many of the prisoners died from suffocation inside the containers and some witnesses claim that those who survived were raked with gunfire. The dead were buried in a mass grave under the authority of Commander Kamal. Those who participated in the burial included Commander Taher Charkhi, who voices no regret for their deaths. "Thousands should have died, not hundreds," he has said.

    Taloqan 101

Taloqan was the last major city to fall to the Taliban, in January 2001, after a bloody siege which claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians. Its capture by the Taliban also triggered a mass exodus in the population, with civilians fleeing towards Imam Sahib and the Panjshir Valley. Irregular Northern Alliance fighters managed to stop the Taliban advance to the north and to the east of the city, but weren't able to retake it. When Taloqan was liberated in November 2001 by Northern Alliance fighters, a mass grave containing the bodies of 70 women and children was found.

    Scenario:
The US Army Seargant Sligh and Northern Alliance General Rashid Dostum were traveling to the Prisons in their Convoy to do a Prison check to make sure the Prisons were to UN Standards.  In route to the Prisons, the Taliban regime have ambushed and taking captive Only to two men in discussion.  They Executed all remaining Military Personnel and have also taking over these Prisons and taking the Northern Alliance General Rashid Dostum and US Army Sergeant Sligh.  To which Prison the men where taking to is currently uknown.

Through their Press Realease, they have Stated that this attack is revenge of the Dasht-i-Leili massacre and they will show NO MERCY!

There is good and bad news, good news is one of the P.O.W. have escaped and has somehow gotten his GPS beacon activated and will be on the map provided and has been there for 3 days hiding.  US Forces must get to him quickly as possible, and his condition is unkown.  So be prepared for the worst case scenario.

Watch this Footage to learn what they May be doing to our guys even as we speak.

AEGs:Typically the AEGs we use will run between 330-400fps with .25g BBs. Over 400fps is prohibited with full auto weapons and under 330, you might find yourself outclassed.

Sniper Rifles:  If you carry a sniper rifle, you are REQUIRED to have a sidearm or secondary firearm. This serves a dual purpose: to give you a backup on close distances and to serve a purpose if your rifle goes down.

FPS Limits: Set using .25g bb's
All weapons capable of shooting full auto: 400fps
    Support weapons(LMG)  450fps
    DMR weapons 500 max fps

Sniper FPS Limits: Set using .20g bb's
Sniper weapons  600fps or less (Any sniper shooting over 530 fps will be required to have it chronoed)

    Engagement distances:
    AEGs and GBBs: 30 ft.
    Support weapons: 50 ft.
    DMR weapons: 80ft
Sniper weapons: 100+ ft.(An additional 20 ft for every 50 FPS over 550FPS)
SAFETY KILLS ONLY FOR SHORTER DISTANCES. "You'll shoot your eye out."

    Sniper rules:
Weapon must be semi-automatic and cannot be modified in the field to run on full auto. Bolt action weapons can be 550fps, modified AEGs can be 500fps.

    General Rules:
Dead rags will be used. A dead rag is a red rag you carry with you at all times, and when you are hit, you indicate it with placing the red rag on your head. If you violate this rule or neglect to use a red rag, not only do you endanger yourself but you endanger your future DSA games.

Absolutely no blind firing!!!! This is not permitted!!!

Bring exact change, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Safety kills are not negotiable. Take it if someone calls "safety kill." If you don't like the distance, tell the person, but you're still dead. Get over it.Also if you are within 30-40ft of a sniper and he doesn't have the time to pull his sidearm he can draw down on you and  call a safety kill. This for your protection as snipers shoot high fps and it is not fair to the sniper to stand and be shot due to MED's.

Safety is the first, most important part of Airsofting. Remember that.

LOCATION IN Mendenhall, TO BE HELD ON 40 ACRES Mendenhall Ms 39114

I'm totally pumped for OP Freedom II!  Been gearing up and checking out the camo... Because I've volunteered to play either side I've got two separate camo patterns... Marpat for US and Flecktarn for OpFor... The only difference between theses photos and what I'll be sporting on OpDay is the possibility of a head scarf instead of the hood.

Crimsonclaw is offically confirming that he will be bringing a charging station to the OP for topping off players batteries. Connections available for charging:

Large tamiya
small tamiya
Dean's (ultra)

These are the only adapters he has that will work with his charger. It is capable of 1amp, 2 amp, and 4 amp charges.

OKAY...This is where I and BOA need Mississippi's Support.  I have come across a pickle.  I have not began the House build that I was planning to start, due to Bank setbacks with Customer.  SO, what i need is the knowledge that I have a good show from MS to OP FREEDOM.  IF I KNOW THIS, I will be Building these for the game.  THEY will be 20'x20' Prisons!  But I WILL BE CHARGING IT TO MY BUILDER ACCOUNT!  This account has to be paid off in 30 days of Purchase.

SO if there is a great deal of support for the game I WILL BUILD THESE.  The money made at the event will go back to Pay for the Material...

NOW for what's remaining of the money if we have any left over.

Retired Marine/Simpson County Chief SO Investigator/Father/Husband, Lost his battle with Cancer the Tuesday after Christmas.  His Children have moved out of the house and are married with Children, Leaving his Wife with No money for bills.  He was the Sole financial Provider for his family.  Since this loss, The wife is struggling to find her a Job.  BOA, Myself, and Hopefully the Mississippi and surrounding states will be willing to come to this game and help her out.  We are also planning a Benefit game with in 4 weeks after OP FREEDOM II, to add to the Funds to help this Widow out.  He asked to not have a funeral because he didn't want people to be sad that he is gone, BUT he wanted them to have a Life Party to celebrate his new Life.  So in March, I have been Invited to attend the Party for him.  I would like to present her with the money from everyone.  I will also have a List of names that Donated Money to help her out, so she knows that people did care about his service to his community and Country.

SO here is the 3D drawing of what is going to be Built if I can have everyone show for this and the next Benefit.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP SO I CAN HAVE THE COMFORT OF KNOWING THAT I CAN DO THIS FOR ALL OF MS.  THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I WAS CHARGING SO MUCH FOR THE EVENT.  YOU KNOW BOA AND MYSELF, WE HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR MONEY FOR AN EVENT(EXCEPT FOR OP DRUGLORD AND THAT WAS TO HELP JUNGLEJIM GET TO CT FOR A GREAT JOB WAITING).
