Hey guys here is another thought-provoking thread. Any of you who know me are well aware that I'm not known for being a fan of "conventional" airsoft. I do appreciate the realism and I LIVE, EAT, AND BREATHE airsoft. However, we can't just leave it to the major manufacturers to come up with the cool stuff! Our AEGs and GBBs are great and they work very well for their intended use, but we need more. One area in which improvement is needed is the RPG and missle area. They make stuff in this area, but none of it is really useful. There are guys in the airsoft world who are great inovators like KILLBUCKET, but even he can't keep up with the demand. Let's put some ideas out there and see if we can't put our heads together and invent some grenades and RPGs that rock! I have already seen that we have some really intelligent guys on this forum and I refuse to believe that we can't come up with something! Feel free to post pics, drawings, etc. This pertains to guns, gear, masks, and more. Let's see what happens....

Hello everyone, I haven't invented anything, but I did want to introduce you to my new "Friend"
His name is Snicker. He is a gas operated airsoft grenade. His specialty is firing 80 bbs in a 360 degree cone from whereever he is tossed. Oh, for those unfortunate enough to make his acquaintance, he'll be delivering said bbs in your general direction at around 120 fps and (depending on the bb) up to around a 20' kill radius.
Right now he's hungry for either green gas or propane so as soon as I can feed him some he'll be making his appearance at airsoft events near you!

yup, that's what I've got for it... I just need to get either green gas or a propane adapter

I don't know why they didn't build that thing to use a single .12 gram co2 cannister! It would be so convenient

I've been trying to invent a triple-barreled AEG shotgun known as "The Jackhammer". Basically just taking 3 gearboxes (and everything that goes with them) and attaching them together inside the same frame, with a linked trigger assembly. I'll post some SolidWorks screenshots when I have a theoretical prototype.
I am the one and only GUNS nBUTTER

Three gearboxes?! You're gonna have to run a car battery on that thing!! Lol. Great idea tho! It's gonna rock!

actually, a li-po might run it with 3 gearboxes, it would drain fast though. unless the barrels stutter their fire. then all he would need is a switch that activates them in turn. I am still hoping that we may see an AA-12 combat shotgun for airsoft one day. Look it up on youtube to see what i am talking about.

Cloak has some ideas for scenario objectives, like fake bombs and such which you might want to read about. It also sparked a few ideas of my own. Such as mocked up artillery weapons. imagine a small howitzer could be made from a large pvc tube and a few large boxes, paint it all green, put a few ammo cans near it, and now it is a objective to disable it during an event. i may make some fake improvised explosive devices as well, which require disarming. My law launcher project is on hold till the holidays pass, but they are progressing well.

If you have been to lee county then you have probably heard of Hawkeye Machine shop. They have a CNC plasma cutter, it is sweet.

found this on the internet, and it is all handbuilt. it would fill the support weapons group nicely if we can figure out the internals and such. _________________

looks like the stuff killbucket used to make. check
www.airsharp.com to see some ideas, and all of the patterns on there require the use of only a scroll saw, drill, and a few other common tools. all you need is the material to build the things out of, and some aeg internals.
