Hello All I know you haven't heard form me in a while, Ive been doing extensive research on airsoft and the equipment, but now I am ready to be an  active member.  I realize that I do not live in MS but I did and I know quite a bit about airsoft.  with that being said now let me get on topic.  Shooting glasses are great for small games where you really do not have to worry about BB's flying from all direction but when at a decent size game of Id say 30+ I would go for goggles.  Goggles provide maximum eye protection when playing.  I know......"the goggles fog up too fast".......there are ways around fogging.  Another excuse is....."Goggles don't have the 'cool factor', I wanna look cool"......when it comes to airsoft, play it safe and just go get goggles because if you get your eye shot out you will not be saying "But I looked  cool".

Here is my main concern of shooting glasses, yes they stop bbs but they leave gaps where a BB can go around and take your eye out.  another concern is that if a airsofter gets shot and the glasses do their job they are more prone to fly off after. or even better without a harness the glasses will fly off leaving your face completely unprotected.  I'm not saying that shooting glasses are not approved for airsoft but In my opinion Goggles leave the most protection for the eyes.

Again this is my opinions based on the research I have done.  Feel free to comment either side.

Good points made there, Mayday.  Cool is all in the eye of the beholder, and if the beholder loses an eye, no one will know how cool they are anyway!
