OPERATION XX
Saturday June 5 2010

Šába Ragol is very high up on the ladder of the Taliban regime. We have searched for years to capture this man. Yet he has still seemed to elude us. We have tried everything from bombing mountains, to sending out small teams to capture this man. Yet, he always seems to just be outside of our grasps. This time men, we've got him right where we want him. We've pinned his location to a small area just outside a village in Afghanistan. His body guards have come and killed many members of this village just so they can steal food to survive. The 75th Ranger Regiment has been tasked with securing this village and to acquire any intel they can from the natives. While the main force is securing the village we have sent the best out to locate and detain Šába Ragol. Task Force 145 has been tasked with that mission. They have been authorized to use whatever force necessary to take him down. He is preferred alive, but we'll take him anyway we can get him.

Task Force 145:
You have been tasked with taking down Šába Ragol. The 75th Ranger Regiment will be supporting you in the field. They should be able to hold off the main insurgent force while you search the area for Šába Ragol. Ragol is preferred alive, but bag him and tag him if necessary.

75th Ranger Regiment:
The locals have been under constant attack from Šába Ragol's regime. It is your mission to get to the village, secure it, and gather intel from the locals. These locals have had contact with the U.S. before, so it's likely they can speak English. If any unseen objectives arise it would be smart to use them as translators.

Šába Ragol Regime:
It is time to take the village. We have exhausted their supplies and they are no longer needed. It is in our best interest to remove them from this world and send them to Allah.

Task Force 145 Uniform:
Civilian clothes with military gear and boots. No Camo at all except for the solid colors of your vest.

US Uniform:
All Digital Camo.

Saba Ragol Regime:

If Multicam will follow in this, then you might have to change it, but yes it usually is.  X-CAMO which is like Multicam will definately be US Uniform Because it is Digital.  I am going to let CMG get back to you on the 100% correct Answer.

I know that Multicam is generally on the U.S. team, but Multicam isn't considered digital is it?

Wikipedias definition of digital camo:

Digital camouflage (or "digicam") is a pattern devised by utilizing small micropatterns, as opposed to larger macropatterns for effective disruption. The theory is that large blotches of color with sharp outlines are easier to see, while "blurring" the edges of the colored patches makes the outlines, and thus the objects, harder to discern. The name is misleading, as most non-digital camouflage patterns also consist of a set of discrete colors; "pixellated camouflage" would be more accurate, but "digital" has stuck. From 1978 to the early 1980s, the American 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment stationed in Europe used a digital camouflage pattern (dual-tex) on its vehicles. During 1979 and 1980, the Australian Army experimented with digital camouflage (dual-tex) on helicopters.[citation needed]

More recently, battledress in digital camouflage patterns has been adopted by the Canadian Forces (who pioneered the design, which bears similarities to Flecktarn (CADPAT), the United States Marine Corps (MARPAT), the military of Jordan (KA2 series), United States Army (Universal Camouflage Pattern), the United States Air Force (Airman Battle Uniform), the Philippine National Police Special Action Force, the Philippine Marine Corps, the Philippine Army, the National Army of Colombia (Patriota), the Ecuadorian Army, the Peruvian Army (PACIPAT), the Guatemalan Army Special Operations Brigade, the Italian Army (Vegetato), Estonian Defence Forces (ESTDCU), the Iraqi National Police, the Croatian Army, the Military of Latvia (NBS2006), the Finnish Defence Forces (M05), China Armed Police Force (Type 05) and Chinese People's Liberation Army (Type 07), Serbian (DMDU-03),

Multicam uses splotches of different colors which is why I asked the question to begin with.

Okay, that makes definitely makes sense. I was just confused about the digital stuff. In Michigan, unfortunately, we pretty much made teams tan vs. woodland so I just have to get used to the differences. At least in this way, most, if not all, of the US camos will be on the US team.

That is pretty much what everyone has been doing at their ops.

We occasionally do the tans vs greens, but for those of us who are colorblind...it doesn't work too well. Some guys on my side were complaining about being hit with friendly fire...huh..silly men.
