I'm about to order a pretty large amount of midcaps for my G&G RK103. Before I found these midcaps, the only magazine that worked with my gun was the high-cap magazine that came with it, so I had no need for a vest or chest rig. I am looking for something that isn't too expensive and allows me to continue to be very mobile (so pretty much, something lightweight). I am leaning very heavily towards getting a chest rig instead of a vest, but I have a few questions for people that have owned a chest rig. How comfortable are chest rigs (in general)? Also, what are the advantages of buying a more expensive chest rig; is there really that large of a difference in quality?

Edit: I was considering this chest rig in particular: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_172&products_id=994
Does anybody own this and if so, is it any good?

I cant Vouch for the Chest rig itself, but looking at the reviews it seems to be a pretty good one at that.

We have this that Legacy Airsoft can sell:  http://www.condoroutdoor.com/cr_7pocket_chest_rig.aspx
The review that We see on it says:

This is a great product. It is perfect for the environment we operate in. It is comofortable, fits well and has plenty of space for all my gadgets, batteries, radios, data cards and anything else i need to carry to a field problem.

OE Tech is actually a Condor Outdoor Product.  For some reason they call it OE TECH.  I am sure the only reason they do this is so they can sell it under the VERY STRICT Minimum Advertised Price.

Follow this link for details on that:  http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=76891161133&topic=10112

The only advantage to getting something more expensive is going to be the quality Difference... Lets say that this one Vest you get that is Cheap and you have the Other more expensive brand.  But these Both on 2 dummies, and some of these vest have a "Drag Bar."  Now the cheaper one is going to be more likely to TEAR off.  This will happen because of the "Cheap Labor" that was involved in creating the vest.  The Fabric and Stitching will play a MAJOR Role in my choice.  If its just a few more dollars, Then I will be getting the More expensive one because I dont want any of my threads backing out.

Same goes for the Camo Pants and Jackets, you buy cheap, and you will get CHEAP.  Needless to say I went through several pairs because I wanted to save a Dollar.
