the equipment malfunctions are what hurt that being a great scenario. perhaps a heavy weapon or 2 on the island would have helped even the odds a bit, but 8 people would have been better on the island. That way at least 4 could cover each end.
It was a typical day of airsoft. 1 games you get 30 kills, the next, you get shot the moment you respawn, happens to the best of us. Work on the details a bit and we shall give it another go. And the teams will need to be a bit better balanced next round.

as one of the peeps protecting argyle, it was fun till they had us pinned at our respawn  point.

i think
a. team balance was ok, imo. other than the number protecting the professor.

however,

b. teams need more incentive to attack each other prior to capture of the professor.
