Simple question, already asked event organizer with no response. if we come from Alabama is there someplace to camp Friday night or do we have to go commercial for lodging?

Sorry for not getting back to you immediately Bravo.  There is no camping at the game site right now and I was looking for options before giving you any kind of definite no.  There are tons of hotels around the area, and I am looking for possible camping sites close to the game right now.

Hey guys, Cloak has found a great place for anyone interested in camping.  I'll be posting the camping options on the player's guide once I get the full details.

To answer even more camo questions regarding those without or who choose not to wear camo, if you are a U.S. player you may wear a black shirt with jeans, khakis, or any other solid color pant.  Please note that any rig (chest) you wear must allow for identification of the shirt you are wearing.  This essentially means that if you're not wearing camo you cannot wear a chest rig that completely covers up or obscures what color shirt you are wearing.

The same goes for P.L.A.V. forces who choose to wear a solid color shirt instead of camo.  May be any solid color markedly different than BLACK, but must be visible to other players.

*** NOTICE *** (Tentative)

This is a single day event.  All action will occur during one morning and afternoon.  Below is a rough schedule for the day.  Of course certain parts of the schedule will be estimates based on how the game is being played and what is happening on the field.
Game Day Schedule:

Arrival Begins: 8am
Prep/Chrono/Registration/Team Balancing: 8am - 10am
Safety & Game Briefing: 10am
Game Begin: ~10:30am

Stage 1 and 2 game play ~ 10:30a - 1:30p

30 min lunch & reload break (Bring your own to the field)

Stage 3 and 4 game play ~ 2:00p - 6:00p

Possible Trade and Market time for 1 hour after game ends

Again, this is a rough estimate of times and will be contingent on how the game progresses across the field.  The current operating procedure is to have a small break between Stage 2 and Stage 3 of game play.  This effectively means that Stage 3 will begin after lunch and refit with the U.S. defense of Tango Base.  Scores will be available during lunch.

Woodland BDU = P.L.A.V.

Woodland Marpat = U.S.

For the record, we are going to be using arm bands in addition to camo differentiation.

Dynomut and I will be the primary admins for OP:VE.  Our responsibility will be to verify and keep track of point during game play.  We will both have radios tuned to PRIMARY ADMIN and TEAM channels.  Using these we'll be available to the COMM OFFICERS to verify points or answer questions.  We will also be available to mediate any disputes between players (although we hope there will be none). Dynomut's job will be to follow the action, ref the reactor at bases, and verify control points changing hands.  I will be responsible for keeping final track of points and making sure the event as a whole runs smoothly.

Tons and Pops will for all intents and purposes be commanding their respective teams.  While they will be acting in this capacity in order to keep everyone on mission and informed of what is going on, they will also be administrators.  Their primary purpose at the event is to help administrate/verify points, help defend respawn points/bases, and organize their team's activities.

Both Pops and Tons are well versed in the rules and scenario of this event.  They will be your primary point of contact.  Dyno and I will step in if necessary or when some point of the game is in dispute.  Our jobs will primarily to keep the game moving and to keep scoring straight.  Their job will be to organize their teams, help strategize, and answer any run-of-the-mill questions.

Until that time, however, please feel free to ask any of us any questions you might have.
